Pete and Pedro Shark Tank Update

Aaron Marino returns to the Shark Tank in episode 726 to pitch his line of premium men’s hair care products, Pete and Pedro Bueno Hair. He last pitched the Alpha M Style System in season four.

Marino is a lifestyle expert and men’s fashion blogger with more than 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube.

Having collaborated with Stephen Posta, a well-known men’s and women’s hairstylist in Kennesaw, Georgia, he developed his collection with him.

Marino’s parents named Pete and Pedro after a tale about a boy named Pete and a donkey named Pedro, who each had “bohio hair.”

Marino describes the company as offering “a collection of men’s hair styling products that meet both Stephen’s professional standards and my own needs as a regular guy.”

You will find shampoo and conditioner, as well as styling creams, gels, pomades, pastes, and putties for different hair types and lengths.

Aaron made his Shark Tank debut in 2013 – a year after they launched their company.

Marino and his partner sell products on their website and provide free shipping for orders greater than $50.

Additionally, they provide a subscription service that sends new things every six or eight weeks. Aaron is certainly looking for a Shark to assist him in going national. Will a Shark consider this a good investment?

Who Is The Founder Of Pete and Pedro?

Aaron Marino established Pete & Pedro, a men’s hair care company. In 2016, the dynamic salesman appeared on Shark Tank to promote his firm.

Aaron Marino has previously appeared on Shark Tank to promote his DVDs about men’s personal development and lifestyle.

He sold only one copy of his Alpha M episode after it aired. Aaron began focusing his efforts on YouTube and social media rather than that business strategy.

He developed new hair products and marketed them through those channels, returning to the Sharks for assistance in reviving Pete & Pedro. Are the Sharks going to bite this time? Consider the following.

He was looking for $100,000 in exchange for 10% equity, and he got it – but not for Pete & Pedro.

Marino is also a social media influencer, with over 3 million subscribers to his YouTube channel Alpha M. Marino advertises men’s products on Alpha M.

Pete and Pedro Before Shark Tank

The founder of Pete and Pedro, Aaron Marino, originated from Acworth, Georgia, and studied business at West Virginia University.

Marino began by opening a fitness center, and shortly after that, he established an image counseling business.

He started with Bueno Hair before launching Enemy in 2019, a brand of inexpensive eyewear that competes with designer labels.

A failed initial business venture did not prevent Marino from seeking entrepreneurial success in the future. He is now one of the most successful business owners in the world.

Marino started an image counseling firm shortly after, emphasizing providing style and fashion guidance to guys.

Unexpectedly, a video camera gifted to him by his wife would significantly advance his professional career.

He intended to use the camera to make content for his Alpha M YouTube channel, with more than five million subscribers.

Marino quickly discovered that he did not care for any of the style products he was using. With the help of stylist Stephen Posta, he resolved his styling issues by starting his own clothing company, Pete & Pedro.

How Was The Shark Tank Pitch Of Pete and Pedro?

Aaron appeared on the Shark Tank with confidence after his season 4 disaster. He is seeking a $100,000 investment in exchange for a 10% stake in his new business, Pete & Pedro.

He is adamant about not leaving the Tank without an agreement for the second time.

The hair care products he distributes come with complimentary samples. Barbara Corcoran likes the aroma of citrus. Aaron describes the scent as “that of a freshly showered tiger.”

Kevin O’Leary brings up Aaron’s first trip to the Tank and asks what difference this time makes and why “this won’t end up zero.”.”

Aaron responds that his new business is already profitable. To date, he has earned more than $800,000 in sales and $50,000 in sales in less than a month.

It appears as though he has grown in wisdom since his initial Shark Tank visit. His cheaper price point appeals to clients, and he’s created a strong sales base ahead of his second meeting with the Sharks.

He is expanding his internet presence through YouTube, where he currently has 600,000 subscribers and 5 million monthly views.

He describes himself as a “social media savage.” He converts at a rate of 9%, with individuals clicking on the links. Chevy and JC Penny both paid him to endorse their products.

Instead of offering social media and networking contacts, he offers his investment products. He views the enterprises as distinct.

Kevin O’Leary expresses dissatisfaction with the division. What makes sense to me if one of my entrepreneurs does anything but bring me money?” he questions.

O’Leary makes an offer despite his doubts. He is offering $100,000 in exchange for a 20% stake. Still, he wants to integrate the entire business – the Youtube channel, social media presence, and sponsorships company called Alpha M, as well as Pete and Pedro.

Aaron denies O’Leary’s offer, refusing to introduce the Sharks to Alpha M. Lori Greiner believes this is not her right product. She is out.

Robert Herjavec is also not a fan of the divided corporations. “If your loyalties are divided,” he says Aaron, “you’ll go where the money is.”

Aaron acknowledges that combining the enterprises may be necessary. Barbara Corcoran offers $100,000 for 10% of Alpha M. She is unconcerned about Pete and Pedro.

O’Leary reiterates his offer of a combined 20% stake in both enterprises for $100,000.

Robert Herjavec makes a counter-offer to Kevin’s. Aaron is concerned that Kevin is not providing enough value.

To counter Barbara’s offer, he requests $300,000 for 10% ownership of the platform.

Barbara accepts but informs him that he will need to secure the services of a second shark.

As part of his interest, Robert wants 10% of any current and future products and 10% of the existing companies.

Robert believes Aaron will forfeit his reputation if he gives him that much control over his recommendations.

He inquires whether Barbara’s original proposal is still on the table. Aaron leaves the Tank after signing a Shark deal with Barbara, who confirms it.

Aaron left the Shark Tank platform with a deal, not for the product he intended for but for his Alpha M Company.

What Happened To Pete and Pedro After Shark Tank?

It appears that Aaron never signed the agreement with Barbara for Alpha M, according to his website.

Pete and Pedro Shark Tank Update

When the hype surrounding Shark Tank subsided, Aaron decided to maintain the ability to decline advertising goods that he disliked.

Alpha M and Pete & Pedro both have quite a following on Facebook. Pete & Pedro continued to offer a 20% Shark Tank discount through November 2016; simply enter the code posttank20 during the checkout process on the website.

Pete and Pedro Shark Tank Update

Entering Shark Tank for the first time is a feat in and of itself, but returning for a second attempt is practically unheard of.

Aaron is a rare fish to secure a Shark deal for a firm unrelated to the one being pitched.

Aaron, however, declined the proposal a week later, explaining that it “didn’t feel right.”

He continues to grow his media presence, which can be seen in the continuous series he produces on men’s hair care and grooming and his endorsements and social media presence.

Flag Shark Tank Update

Aaron’s Youtube following has now surpassed that of the Sharks, and his social media presence is unquestionably one of the most spectacular in the men’s grooming market today.

He established a second line, Tiege Hanley. Alpha M along with Pete and Pedro are still in business as of February 2022.

Is Pete and Pedro Still In Business?

A small crew of ten employees is running Pete and Pedro today, under the leadership of Marino. Pete and Pedro is a joint venture between Marino and his three other businesses.

Marino states that Pete and Pedro have been profitable from the beginning and have maintained a consistent growth trajectory over time.
