ZipIt Bedding Shark Tank Update

ZipIt Bedding is an all-in-one bedding solution designed for kids and teens. It combines a fitted sheet and a zippered comforter, making bed-making quick and easy.

The bedding zips up like a sleeping bag, ensuring a neat and tidy bed every time. With fun designs and cozy materials, ZipIt Bedding encourages kids to make their own beds, promoting independence and tidiness in a fun, engaging way.

The sleeping bag is constructed similarly and is as easy to use as zipping and straightening. It’s now tidy in your child’s room, and you don’t have to nag anymore. When your child sleeps, does he toss and turn, pulling the covers off? A Zipit bed is a perfect solution. After you zip him in, he’s got the snuggest fit you’ve ever seen.

There will be no more chilly nights spent on the floor with blankets. There is no need to walk through a dark house looking for a shivering child. The product is available in a variety of attractive colors and patterns. Many of the sleep sets are reversible as well!

The all-in-one bedding unzips easily, so you can toss it in the washer with a flick of the wrist when it’s time to wash. You can use Zipit as a bunk bed, Murphy bed, or trundle bed; bedding is available in twin, queen, and king sizes.

A matching pillowcase is included, so you no longer have to pack your floppy pillows into small cases. Zipit Bedding simplifies everyone’s life by being cool, sophisticated, comfortable, and convenient.

The Zipit Bedding collection includes two pieces of bedding: a sheet and a comforter. The sheet and comforter zip together to make a seamless bedcover resembling a sleeping bag.

A sheet provides an extra layer of cleanliness and ease of making your bed, so you don’t have to worry about bunched-up sheets every time.

In this one-of-a-kind piece, you can choose various stunning colors and patterns. The reversible sets even have fluorescent color options. Additionally, you can throw the all-in-one bedding in the washer when you need to wash it with a few swipes of your wrist.

Who Is The Founder Of ZipIt Bedding?

Jennifer MacDonald is the co-founder of Zipit Bedding. Zipit’s bedding comes in twin, queen, and king sizes, and it is designed to fit a variety of sleeping arrangements, including bunk beds, Murphy beds, and trundles.

You won’t have to squeeze floppy pillows into tiny cases because the matching pillowcases come with every order. There is nothing more stylish, classy, comfortable, or convenient than Zipit Bedding. It simplifies the lives of everyone.

Hayley Carr and Jennifer MacDonald introduced ZipIt Bedding on February 28, a top sheet and comforter system that zips onto the bed.

Children despise making their beds, and both moms know it. The girls rolled their sheets into balls and searched for ways to combine the top sheet and comforter. Their unique vision brought Smart Bedding to life.

The ZipIt Bedding set consists of sheets and a comforter. The sheet and comforter zip together to form a seamless bed cover resembling a sleeping bag. You don’t have to deal with a bunched-up top sheet every time you make your bed since the top sheet adds protection and cleanliness to the bed.

ZipIt Bedding can be created in two to three seconds compared to making a traditional bed. There are now full and twin ZipIts available. There are future plans for a queen, a king, and a California king.

A comforter, matching pillowcases, and a fitted sheet are all included in each three-piece set. Twin sets cost $55, and full sets cost $65. Hayley and Jennifer almost certainly need Shark’s assistance to process big-box distribution.

How Was The Shark Tank Pitch Of ZipIt Bedding?

Hayley and Jennifer appeared on Shark Tank seeking a $75,000 investment to take a 20% stake in the ZipIt Bedding. The video illustrates how a zipper attaches a comforter to a fitted sheet. They designed a variety of variations to fit bunk beds and other needs.

The patent application is pending. The company has sold 1,000 sets thus far, earning $7,500 from a three-minute television advertisement but losing money because of expenses.

The company has received interest in licensing the product from a large bedding supplier. The deal would require a minimum order of $50,000, a 4% commission on domestic sales, and a 6% commission on overseas sales.

After visiting the firm, the sisters learned that the bedding would not be available until the summer. They wanted to get the bedding before Christmas. The sisters declined the contract.

There is some doubt about the Sharks’ decision to decline the contract. Kevin O’Leary refers to himself as “the licensing king.” He’s out because the ladies declined his licensing contract.

Robert Herjavec worries that the ladies have crystal-clear visions for their marketing, but he’s not sure he agrees. He exits from ZipIt since he no longer believes he is the right person for the job.

Barbara Corcoran believes that the ladies are enthusiastic about their product but lack a well-defined business plan. She has escaped.

Mark Cuban does not believe they are “open-minded.” He is not interested in working with them because he believes they are unwilling to work together.

Lori Greiner is the lone survivor of the shark attack. She believes they have taken the wrong approach.

The best method is not direct response television or a commercial campaign. The ladies intend to “do both” using digital and television advertising to “increase brand awareness.”

Lori believes it would have been better if the company had taken the licensing contract and gained access to major stores.

The founders of ZipIt Bedding left the Tank without securing a deal with a Shark.

What Happened To ZipIt Bedding After Shark Tank?

ZipIt introduced a new line of products during its event on April 26-27. This alone shows ZipIt’s success, despite the Mom-Appearing team’s ignorance.

ZipIt has expanded its product line, but they no longer offer its initial zip-up bedding concept, with googly eyes and lifelike faces, including the Monster Pencil Case and the Grillz Backpack, and the Beast Box Pencil Box.

ZipIt exhibits at various trade show each year to spread the word about its product line and seems very popular. You can get free shipping at the ZipIt shop if you spend over $15, but the ZipIt sheets are unavailable.

Despite the Sharks’ misgivings about the marketing campaign, the ladies went ahead with their scheme. Though the website is still live and appears to be doing well, reviews on at least one site indicate that some customers never received their orders.

How likely is it that ZipIt will collapse at the seams, or will the line’s success continue to grow? We’ll see with time. They successfully obtained distribution for the product at Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Walmart.

You can buy ZipIt Bedding from their official website and also from popular stores such as Amazon & Walmart. ZipIt Bedding is still in business with an annual revenue of $5 million.

The valuation of ZipIt Bedding was $375,000 during its appearance on Shark Tank. The current net worth of ZipIt Bedding is estimated to be $6 million.
