Skyler Scarlett and her sister Brittney Scarlett-Torres show the Shark Tank audience how to freeze your way to better health in episode 720 of Shark Tank when they pitch their franchised retail cryotherapy spas, Glace Cryotherapy.
Cryotherapy was first used in Japan to treat arthritis more than 30 years ago, but it has only recently gained popularity.
The first time Skyler learned about cryotherapy was in 2011. His sister helped him open Glace Cryotherapy in Carmel, California, in October 2014 after he realized that it was a potential business.
Additionally, they have franchised six locations; one in Florida, one in Nevada, one in Oregon, and three in California.
Cryotherapy has been extensively studied, with proponents claiming benefits such as pain reduction, stress relief, weight loss, anti-aging, increased energy, detoxification, increased sports performance, and stronger hair, nails, and skin.
Cryotherapy sessions reportedly burn up to 800 calories per session, according to the manager of the San Jose branch.
There is strong evidence that these therapies have anti-inflammatory properties, as confirmed by numerous professional athletes.
Many NFL players attend the weekly sessions, including LeBron James, Floyd Mayweather, and more.
Glace Cryotherapy offers franchise owners an exclusive discount on Impact Cryotherapy Equipment.
Cryotherapy spas run by this company offer cheap gas, insurance, and booking systems.
Cryotherapy spas are an emerging industry that will almost certainly need Shark assistance to grow. Within the next few years, there could be 3000 across America.
Will a Shark consider this a “serious” investment?
What Is Glace Cryotherapy?
Glace Cryotherapy involves submerging a person in freezing nitrogen air using a sauna or booth that creates cold air.
Professional athletes and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are celebrities who frequent the place.
GLACÉ CRYOTHERAPY circulates air with temperatures as low as 250 degrees below zero for three minutes. This procedure alleviates inflammation.
Your pain is naturally treated, and your energy level is increased. Cryotherapy stimulates the production of collagen, which is beneficial for the skin.
Glace Cryotherapy has established itself as a contender among novel and innovative cosmetic procedures.
Skyler Scarlett and Brittney Scarlett-Torres founded and operated this groundbreaking spa, the first of its kind.
The spa, which now includes sites in California and Oregon, provides clients with a soothing, private experience complemented by exceptional customer service.
The cryotherapy treatment is one of several “hot new things” offered in upscale spas throughout the country as part of their health and beauty offerings.
Yet, the technique dates back thousands of years to the ancient Egyptians and regained popularity in the modern era during the 1970s.
However, most people aren’t aware of this novel form of therapy but are unaware of its numerous benefits.
Cryotherapy aims to shock the body into high performance by using cold, dry air to cause vasoconstriction, or the constricting of blood vessels, followed by vasodilation, or the widening of blood vessels.
Glace’s comprehensive website describes the benefits of this therapy, which include pain relief and tighter skin, and many more as more sessions are completed.
The benefits of cryotherapy include aiding the body’s recovery from sports injuries, increasing blood flow and reducing pain perception, boosting mood and vitality, and stimulating collagen production in the skin.
All people have benefited from this novel therapy, including athletes and students.
Clients may rest assured that they will receive a safe and pleasurable cryotherapy experience at Glace.
All sessions are supervised by skilled and certified experts who ensure everybody is relaxed and comfortable throughout.
Skyler and Brittney combine their knowledge of physiology and her expertise in marketing so that their clients can experience this centuries-old practice in a new way.

Who Is The Founder Of Glace Cryotherapy?
Brittany Scarlett-Torres and Skyler Scarlett founded Glace Cryotherapy. Cryotherapy has increased in popularity over the last few years and is now commonly used in Japan, Europe, and the United States.
Japanese scientists developed cryotherapy over 30 years ago to treat arthritis, but the United States only recently adopted it.
Skyler first learned about cryotherapy in 2011, and, seeing it as a business opportunity, he enlisted his sister’s help to open Glace Cryotherapy in Carmel, CA, in October 2014.
Glace Cryotherapy Before Shark Tank
Skyler Scarlett and Brittany Scarlett-Torres founded Glacé Cryotherapy.
Cryotherapy has grown in popularity in recent years, widespread use in Japan, Europe, and the United States.
Whole-body cryotherapy involves submerging the body in a huge container of liquid nitrogen.
Cryotherapy is becoming increasingly popular among athletes to reduce pain and inflammation.
This procedure lowers body temperature to allow blood to flow to the heart. It becomes extremely oxygenated and nutrient-dense at this point.
The body will return to normal temperature once the cryotherapy session has ended and the extremities have regained their normal temperature.
To put it simply, Glacé Cryotherapy is similar to applying an ice pack to the entire body.
Skyler noticed that cryotherapy was becoming more common in the health and fitness industry and identified a market opportunity. Thus was formed Glacé Spa.
Cryosaunas at Glacé Spa requires you to strip down to your underwear and change into a special robe before entering.
Individuals who have had cryotherapy have experienced enhanced sleep, decreased pain and inflammation, higher vitality, and even improved mood.
Glacé Cryotherapy appears to be safe and effective, which explains why it is so popular.
Glacé Cryotherapy’s cryotherapy service is available to everyone except pregnant women and people with heart disease or high blood pressure.
Glacé Cryotherapy decided to enter the shark tank, hoping that one of the sharks would bring some more money and the business knowledge the duo needs to grow even stronger.
How are the sharks going to react to Glacé Cryotherapy? Skyler and Brittany’s composure will they be able to hold on to their deal?
How Was The Shark Tank Pitch Of Glace Cryotherapy?
Skyler and Scarlett begin their Shark Tank journey with a section about their home lives, in which Skyler describes how he became interested in cryotherapy and how he became addicted.
It was an opportunity he recognized, and he took it. Skyler’s business is built on sacrifices he made while living in a barn on his mother’s farm.
The Sharks should attempt cryotherapy to assist America.
“The ice siblings” appeared on Shark Tank seeking an investment of $100,000 in exchange for a 20% stake in Glace Cryotherapy. They inaugurate the cryosauna and discuss its benefits.
The Sharks appear to be interested. Mr. Wonderful asks the Ice Siblings about the expense of freezing Mark’s head.
Robert is interested in giving it a try, and so he strips down, dons a robe, and enters the cryosauna. Three minutes is the maximum time allowed inside the cryosauna.
He exclaimed, “Oh, my God, this is very cold!”. He claims to be in excellent health, despite his skin temperature being 32 degrees.
Glace Cryotherapy has generated $140,000 in revenue and $115,000 in profit. Their primary expenditure is on the gas required to power the cryosaunas. The machines are priced at $55,000.
According to Robert, everyone on Dancing with the Stars uses this, and Mark confirms that the Mavericks did well.
Kevin indicates that he can go out and get a machine and open “Mr. Wonderful’s Freeze-a-Tron.” He informs them that they have nothing; he is leaving.
Mark asserts that there are numerous successful service businesses, but they lack the necessary personnel; he is out.
Robert asserts that if they wish to achieve national prominence, they must develop a game plan. He is unaware; he is gone. Lori does not believe it is investable; she has withdrawn.
Barbara has liked the business since it has been profitable from the start. When Mark attempts to warn her, she responds, “Stay with your basketball.”
She asserts that she can grow the firm to a million dollars and how to achieve so. Barbara offers $100,000 in exchange for 30%, and the ice siblings respond, “DEAL!”
Final Deal: Barbara Corcoran agreed to invest $100,000 for 30% equity in Glace Cryotherapy.
What Happened To Glace Cryotherapy After Shark Tank?
Glace Cryotherapy has benefited greatly from the mass media publicity that it has received since the shark tank episode aired.
Cryotherapy is still a relatively new treatment option in the United States, making it the perfect time for Skyler and Brittany to enter the fray and close the deal with Barbara.
Barbara has maintained her promise to the couple and has helped expand Glacé Cryotherapy even though it has only been a few months since Shark Tank.
It is now accessible in Carmel, San José, Niceville, and Medford, Oregon.
Brittany and Skyler are also seeking franchise opportunities. Anyone interested in becoming a franchise owner can contact them.
Glacé Cryotherapy appears to have reaped the benefits of its shark tank agreement so far.
Glace Cryotherapy Shark Tank Update
Barbara’s deal never materialized. According to a post on the company’s Facebook page by Skyler: “Unfortunately, our contract fell through following the airing, and we were unable to collaborate with her or secure money. On the plus side, we signed a contract yesterday with LA Fitness, a billion-dollar fitness club chain, and are now seeking funding to open numerous corporate-owned units within their fitness facilities. They operate 600 locations throughout the United States, and we believe this contract gives us a high chance of obtaining money.“
Glace Cryotherapy operated four locations before closing in 2017. Skyler is now a full-time cryotherapy industry consultant.
Is Glace Cryotherapy Still In Business?
It appears that the Barbara Corcoran transaction did not go through, as indicated on the Glace Cryotherapy Facebook page.
However, Glace Cryotherapy has struck a partnership with LA Fitness following their participation on Shark Tank. The company said that the facility would offer Glace Cryotherapy services at certain locations of LA Fitness.
