Cornucopia Shark Tank Update

Shark Tank Season 01 and Episode 09 featured Dr. Geoffrey Broderick’s Cornucopia Express pet food products. To drive sales of the products, Broderick and Christina approached the Sharks for a potential investment.

The supplements Broderick is creating will “reintroduce the wild to food” for pets, averting most dangerous ailments and encouraging pets to live longer.

Broderick adds food-grade pills to his smoothies regularly. Are the Sharks going to bite into the holistic concept of pet paradise this veterinarian offers?

Who Is The Founder Of Cornucopia?

Dr. Geoffrey Broderick, a.k.a. “Doc,” is a veterinarian whose philosophy on pet food provides delectable and nutritious options for your pet. Cornucopia Pet Foods was founded in 1969 by Dr. Broderick, who has no intention of slowing down.

Dr. Geoffrey pioneered pet nutrition and preventative measures to ensure that animals live longer, healthier lives. Cornucopia Pet Food offers organic products, and Doc tastes every meal before it is released to the market.

Geoffrey Broderick and his daughter Kristina Broderick created a product that embodies their passion for animals. Dr. Geoffrey Broderick has been a veterinarian for over forty years and owns a private practice.

He adds that his clinic is a family operation; his wife is a registered nurse caring for the animals, and Michelle Broderick, Dr. Geoffrey Broderick’s other daughter, works at the clinic daily.

Dr. Geoffrey Broderick believes that he has dedicated his entire life and profession to animal welfare, which inspired him to create his products. He also believes that his products prevent animals from getting sick.

He hopes the Sharks understand the critical nature of Cornucopia Express products for animals and their impact on the world’s pet population.

Kristina Broderick said they sell Cornucopia Express products from her father’s Huntington, New York veterinary clinic. Furthermore, she says they have recently started selling their products online, ordering them directly from a website.

Kristina Broderick also stated that they intend to expand Cornucopia Express countrywide once they acquire funding from the Sharks.

How Was The Shark Tank Pitch Of Cornucopia?

Christina Broderick pitches the Sharks on the products, seeking an investment of $300,000 for a 15% share in Cornucopia. The duo introduces themselves and their dog, Casey. Broderick’s commitment is palpable.

He informs Kevin O’Leary that if he incorporates the vitamins into his diet, he will “be around to enjoy all that money you’re making.”

Dr. Broderick claims that supplements will increase pets’ lifespan by 50%. Robert Herjavec, on the other hand, is doubtful.

He requests a demonstration, which Casey gladly does, gobbling up a Cornucopia Express sample. Kevin O’Leary even tastes the supplement.

The Sharks questioned the products’ scientific validity, asking if they had undergone clinical trials.

Robert Herjavec specifically is adamant that these statements are absurd. He argues that over half of all Americans will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives and that if the product can prevent cancer, it should be created and marketed to humans.

Broderick answers by comparing the creatures to his “children.” Herjavec exits immediately.

Kevin Harrington explains that Broderick requires more than anecdotal evidence for his assertions in the retail industry.

Harrington believes Broderick will not market Cornucopia Express pet foods due to lacking patent and scientific evidence to support his claims. He has left.

Daymond John believes “he cannot allow his heartstrings to dictate the outcome.” Kevin O’Leary follows his lead, withdrawing due to insufficient scientific evidence.

The Sharks don’t want to risk their hard-earned money on preventative pet products.

Final Deal: No deal between Sharks and Cornucopia Pet Foods.

What Happened To Cornucopia After Shark Tank?

Kristina Broderick and her father, Dr. Geoffrey Broderick, appeared on Shark Tank, hoping to receive a $300,000 investment. They intended to use the funds to develop its Cornucopia Express line of supplements, which purport to prevent various ailments and cancer in both pets and humans.

Kristina Broderick and Geoffrey Broderick failed to secure investment from any Shark due to their lack of belief in the goods’ efficacy.

Due to Dr. Geoffrey Broderick’s lack of credible evidence to support his allegations, things deteriorated further. This led some Sharks to suspect Cornucopia Express was a fraud.

Cornucopia is not mentioned as the best or worst on Shark Tank, but the Sharks would not invest without concrete proof.

If you had imagined Cornucopia Express would fail as a business, much more so after being denied funding by the Sharks,

However, the company continues to operate and can be reached at https://www.cornucopiapetfoods.com. You can find information on all of Cornucopia’s products, as well as feeding calculators, on the website.

A Cornucopia website offers three distinct categories of goods: Cornucopia pet foods, Cornucopia superfoods, and Cornucopia combo packs.

Pet foods are available in a range of prices, starting at $19,99 and ending at $399,89. The availability of combo packs is wonderful, allowing you to save money on your purchases.

You can keep up-to-date on everything about animals on Cornucopia’s Facebook page. It’s difficult to locate reviews for Cornucopia goods.

However, the majority of customers appear to agree that their pets become more active after eating Cornucopia products.

Cornucopia Shark Tank Update

Despite the Shark Tank setback, Dr. Broderick continued to advertise his Cornucopia Express pet goods through his own office and online.

The items have not expanded beyond his specialized market in Huntington, New York, offered through his veterinary office.

Cornucopia Shark Tank Update

Because of Broderick’s prophylactic formula, Casey, the dog, is probably still alive. The company is still in business, with an annual revenue of $5 million.

Is Cornucopia Still In Business?

The Brodericks did not receive funding on Shark Tank, but they still market Cornucopia Phyto-Food and Super Food supplements through their website.

The plant-based supplement costs $34.99 for a 4.9 oz container. Further, they offer four flavors of canned pet food: Harvest Dinner, Turkey and Giblet Dinner, Chicken with Egg Dinner, and Purrfect Dinner.

You may purchase a 4-can Introductory Special (one can of each flavor) for $19.99 (free shipping in the continental US). Cornucopia is still in business, with an estimated net worth of $5 million.
