Naturally Perfect Dolls was founded by Angelica and Jason Sweeting, based in Miami, Florida.
The primary goal of Naturally Perfect Dolls was to provide children from various ethnic backgrounds with dolls that accurately reflected their features, facial features, and hairstyles, who would be encouraged to accept themselves and be diverse.
Angelica Sweeting is a person of color, and so is her husband; however, when she tried to buy her kid a doll, she couldn’t find any doll that resembled a person of color.

The deal between Naturally Perfect Dolls and Daymond John, which was showcased on Shark Tank Show, was never completed by Daymond John.
Naturally Perfect Dolls took orders from the customers till Christmas of 2018; however, they never shipped or delivered any dolls, which made the customers and parents of young girls furious.
The Sweeting couple also deactivated the social media and website of Naturally Perfect Dolls. The couple declared bankruptcy and even tried to rerun the brand by renaming it Mayzeepedia.
Every person who invested in Naturally Perfect Dolls was out of pocket and never got any product.
Naturally Perfect Dolls Shark Tank Update
Naturally Perfect Dolls is out of business as of 2022, and their social media and website have been deactivated since December 2018.
They did not deliver most of the orders they took through their website, and the customers went furious.
One of the customers even reported that his order was delivered after 90 days of ordering. After failing with Naturally Perfect Dolls, Angelica Sweeting started another fundraising campaign on Kickstarter for a line of girl action figurines known as The Epic Elements.
